We regret that the 2016 Southeast Regional Pigfest event is postponed until the organization has a chance to explore how to make the event sustainable. This is a fundraiser for Community Action that begins in the hole more than $10,000 in prizes. Current community support has not enabled the event to meet the strenuous demands necessary to make the event possible or provide a sufficient return on investment to meet the needs of Community Action to help it serve the low-income community in our region. Pigfest
We are a Kansas City American Royal qualifier, a Jack Daniels World Invitational qualifier, as well as a World Food Championships qualifier with $10,000 in prizes. Cook teams – watch your points add up at our event! Rock out to the fantastic sounds of Blues and live music as you enjoy some of the best championship BBQ around; prepared by top chefs who are cooking their way to the top to claim bragging rights for best BBQ in the Southeast.
After you’ve had your fill of delicious food, venture out to see what local vendors and artists have to show off at their booths as you shop The Marketplace. With two stages, you’ll experience non-stop music from top bands all day. We offer a Kids Zone for family friendly fun. Food vendors are coming from throughout the United States, bringing tastes of many cultures. If shopping for unique and beautiful things is what you like, you’re going to love The Marketplace for a great experience. A Show and Shine Car and Bike Show adds to the excitement of the day.
There’s something for everyone at Pigfest and it’s BIGGER THAN EVER! So come out and have an awesome time as you help Capital Area Community Action Agency support your local community.
ADMISSION
There are three two types of admission – VIP and General Admission. General Admission offers entrance to the fairgrounds to meet and greet the BBQ competition teams, listen to the bands, browse the marketplace, visit the food vendors for BBQ and more, admire the Show and Shine Car Show and enjoy the Kids Zone for children of all ages. VIP Admission gives you all that PLUS free food and beverages under the VIP tent and competition BBQ samples, a whole hog cooked up by Sonny’s BBQ and some of the best seats for the music.
TICKETS ARE ON SALE AT THE GATE – General Admission $10/adult and $5/youth (under 6 is free). VIP is only $35!
Volunteers are needed and welcome. Free Pigfest T-shirts for the first 100 volunteers to sign up for 2-hour slots. Help for two hours and enjoy the rest of the day. Call us at 850 222-2043 ext.101 to see how you can help.

Join us at Pigfest for great family fun, and help those living in poverty in North Florida. Capital Area Community Action Agency, established 50 years, is the primary direct services and advocacy organization serving low-income residents in 8 North Florida counties. Proceeds from this event helps provide needed funds for our Head Start Programs for low-income pre-school children, energy assistance for low-income, elderly and disabled, weatherization programs for energy efficient homes, local jobs, Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin’ By World program, and much more.
